This bathhouse is nestled in a water garden in Nancy, realized by Chemetoff.
The objective of this project was to realize a work on natural light, using only indirect zenithal openings and furthermore to study its relation with the water of the ponds.
The bathhouse is semi-buried in the pond in which it is established, its visual impact is therefore minimized, allowing him a perfect insertion in his environment.
The light is here a fundamental element of the project, in the same way as the water. therefor these two components enter in correlation to create a different atmosphere in every space.
The openings are thought to guide the visitor, create bright spaces of circulation and spaces of relaxation where the shadow confers intimacy.
